Javier Carrera

My name is E. Javier Carrera, and I am the Owner of MoveMeant Illustr8ed, Inc. I have three wonderful daughters, Jamilla (17). Sophie (10), and Sarah (8). My daughter's passion for dance has kept us involved in the dance industry for 12 years.

As many of you have probably experienced, it has been an exciting and enlightening journey to share as a family. Looking back, before my wife, Ruth, and I decided to get involved in dance, I'm brought back to memories of Jamilla's early childhood. Jamilla was a timid and tender-hearted child who strived to do her best in school, and struggled socially amongst her peers. We knew she enjoyed dancing at home, but decided to encourage her to step outside her comfort zone and enroll in dance classes.

After a few short weeks, we began to notice some positive changes in her. It was as if her life was renewed. As a father, enrolling my daughter in dance was one of the best investments that I have ever made, and as a family we are now more fully invested than ever before.

Today, it is an honor and a privilege to own a dance studio where every child's desire to dance and express themselves through movement is nurtured. Our intention is to provide a safe, family oriented environment where the children can strive and grow through dance and their daily life.

God Bless this dance studio and all the families who enter through its doors.
